Columbine is a Colorado Hairstreak Butterfly. She loves kids, and has a specific heart for kids in need of a smile or giggle.

Columbine is often seen at the Denver Botanical Gardens, reading to kids at a local library, at book fairs, gardens and sometimes visiting terminally ill kids at the Children’s Hospital. Columbine especially loves birthdays and tea parties by request.
Columbine is a bubble artist. Her bubbles have been seen at the Colorado Renaissance Festival, Spring Spree in Colorado Springs, block parties and community festivals, non profit events, private parties and many parks around Colorado and New Mexico. Her hand bubbles are truly magical.
A note from the Creator

Hi, I’m Susan, the creator of Columbine the Butterfly. In 2011, my daughter and I performed with hand bubbles and huge 30 foot bubbles at Cottonwood Park and the Colorado Renaissance Festival dressed in wings. As a stay at home Mom, and Web Geek who works at home, I rarely get time for fun. This was the beginning of a beautiful adventure.
Who am I? I’m a mother of 3, I am a web design student, a serious artist and manage three separate businesses. I believe in the impossible and hope to change the world one smile at a time.
